Fairytales tell, as their labels imply,
stories of magic, of creatures that fly
With giants and dragons and ogres and elves
And inanimate objects that speak for themselves
There’s romance and danger and plotting of schemes
There’s good guys and bad guys and some guys in-between
A fairytale also reveals some sort of truth
The perils of choices we make in our youth
But our story today is different in theme
For our hero had no choice - or so it would seem
It starts with a fairy bestowing a spell
This one’s a baby named Ella of Frell.
I feel like Jennifer Lawrence is at this point where she’s just done. Like all she’s trying to do is walk to the mic and announce the nominees for best actor and her cast members are laughing like she’s about to do something ridiculous. She is trying really hard, but people cannot take her seriously. Sure they take her acting seriously, but because everyone knows that she’s actually wild and funny and clumsy, people just expect her to be a comedy act when she’s not playing a character.
I know it’s cool that Jennifer can act like a normal person that everyone wants as their best friend, but I think she’s developing a stigma among her colleagues that could ultimately hinder her.
